Carolyn is a self-employed administrator with her own small business based in Cambridgeshire.

With a background of working in support roles throughout a range of diverse industries and in a global virtual environment, she is adept at general administration and also has experience in events management including venue contract negotiations, travel and catering arrangements; proofreading and copyediting, with an excellent eye for detail and exemplary grammar, spelling and punctuation; verbal and written communications, with a degree in Modern Languages and good working French and Spanish; audio typing, including transcribing recordings of interviews and dictated correspondence; and website administration, uploading and editing content.

Carolyn can provide an out-of-office service for busy professionals, monitoring and responding to emails, making and receiving telephone calls, managing diaries, scheduling meetings, chasing invoices, proofing and editing documents; whatever administrative tasks are required in order to free up her clients to get on with their core role.

Highly confidential and conscientious, creative and responsive, Carolyn is always eager to take on new challenges. Independent and adaptable, she is prepared to travel wherever necessary and to work outside standard business hours when required, in order to fulfil her clients’ needs.

Widely travelled with an adventurous nature, particularly enjoying worldwide independent solo trips, Carolyn is happiest spending her leisure time visiting new destinations, immersing herself in the local environment and culture, making new friends, savouring regional cuisines, and enjoying activities such as walking, swimming, sailing and skiing; or when at home taking long daily walks around nearby lakes and parkland with her border collie.
